Here it is! This continues the series of my Top 10 accents that will help you keep your home more organized while also adding great style. Let’s focus on the bathroom:
- Round Shallow Wire Basket – Magnolia Market ($24 – 32)
Magnolia is one of my favorite places to show because I love the rustic and industrial combination! For the bathroom, you could use this to store toilet paper. It will empty some cabinet space for you and it provides easy access 🙂 We have ours stored right by our toilets in our bathroom — it adds a little something to the floor space in that area. One of ours actually covers up some of those ugly tubes!
2. Antique Pewter Decorative Wire Basket – Target ($17.99)
I have been searching for one of these for my bathroom recently. I LOVE my bath tub and we added a few shelves above it for storage/decor. My plan for this basket is to add wash cloths inside so that I do not have to go grab them from the cabinet across the bathroom. If you don’t have shelves, you can even put this basket in the corner of your bath tub area. Instead of wash cloths, you can even store your bath essentials (soaps, soaks, bubbles, etc.)
3. Acrylic Catchall – Mark & Graham ($25 – $29)
To focus on the countertops in your bathroom I suggest some catchalls. These are great because you can add a monogram/name/design to the bottom. They literally do what they say, catch all. Sometimes I throw jewelry that I wear on a daily basis into it, chapstick, and even hand lotion. The beauty of these is that you can toss basically anything into it but because its clear and not very big, you still maintained an organized space! You have things in a designated spot instead of sprawled all over the countertop.
4. Cabinet-Sized elfa Mesh Bath Storage – The Container Store ($80.98 – $88.98)
ELFA = LIFE! We always throw our cleaning supplies underneath the sinks in our bathroom because it seems like the appropriate place. The problem is that we always have to shuffle through the rags and cleaning products to find what we need. Adding the elfa organizer under a sink would solve this for us. My thought is one drawer can be designated for towels/rags, another for wipes and possibly the bottom for your favorite cleaning products. Save some space!
You could also use this Cabinet-Size elfa Mesh Easy Gliders Solution package too if you prefer this look for your under-sink storage! If you have multiple shelves underneath then this would be a better solution for you.
5. Classic Glass Apothecary Jars – PotteryBarn ($29 – $55)
Like I mentioned earlier, I am just a little obsessed with my tub. With that being said, these jars would be absolutely perfect for storing your bath necessities/essentials in the corner of your tub area or on shelves. They are so stylish and of course, the fact that they are clear…YAY! They come in different sizes too so you are able to choose what would best fit your space.
6. Gray Tubby Bath Toy Organizer – PotteryBarn Kids ($22)
I’m aware not everyone reading this post has children, but let me tell you that bath toys tend to go literally everywhere. We own a toy organizer that suctions to the wall just like this one and we love it. The reason I chose to feature this one instead of the one we own is because it is gender-neutral and a tad more sleek. When you are done with bath time you actually have a place to store those little items that doesn’t take up any bath/floor space. It’s awesome!
7. Havana Tote Basket – PotteryBarn ($89)
I’m sure ya’ll have figured this out by now, but I’m all about clearing out cabinet space if possible. My thought for this basket is to store a few towels. Rolling them up and storing them this way adds a great little accent in the bathroom. Plus, it makes it easier to grab one!
8. Bamboo Drawer Organizing Trays – The Container Store ($6.99 – $9.99)
I have these…I love these! I use them in the top drawers on my side of the bathroom. I store my bathroom necessities (moisturizers, makeup removers, hairbrushes, hair ties, etc.) here and it makes things so easy to find and grab! The bamboo collection offers a little contrast in your drawers!
9. Wire Serving Tray – Magnolia Market ($28 – $42)
There are several places that this could be used in your bathroom: shelves, bath tub area, or a countertop. If added to shelves, you could use this as a pace for your candles/decor/q-tips/cottonballs. For your tub area, you may want to store your bubbles, soaps and soaks. On your countertop, you can add hairsprays, mousses or even a flat iron! There are multiple ways to utilize this in your bathroom and it would go well anywhere!
10. Hanging Style Basket – At Home ($12.99)
In our bathroom, we added a couple of these for the back of the cabinets under the sinks. They hold the blow dryer, flat iron and I even added hair spray/dry shampoo too. It is so useful and you can’t even see it when the door is closed…awesome!
Ya’ll stay tuned for the next room in this series! Thanks for checking back in with me 🙂
