I think this is by far my favorite room…
You will probably notice that a LOT of products on this list are from The Container Store. Let’s just say that I have a slight obsession with the place. If I was let loose in there, you wouldn’t see me for hours! Anyways, I included some look-a-likes throughout because sometimes they can get a little pricier than others.
- Acrylic Desktop File – The Container Store ($24.99)
Clear Collection = GOLD! Some of you that have been keeping up with me might have noticed that this collection is my favorite. It makes my desk space feel so much more open! The product name says you can use it on your desktop, but I actually just use it in the top shelf of our closet…mainly because I don’t want everyone that comes to our home to see all of our important documents! But no less, I LOVE this so much that I bought 2. I also used Avery 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ clear labels to print off each section title so that it would be uniform!
2. Acrylic Office Drawer Organizers – The Container Store ($2.49 – $9.99)
We also have these in our desk drawers and they have made it so easy to spot whatever you are looking for. I chose not to get the drawer organizers that were already put together into one piece. I wanted to be able to play around with the organizers in the drawers for them to fit just right.
3. Russell Hazel Acrylic Tape Dispenser & Stapler – The Container Store ($17.99)
Like I said…I have a problem with TCS and their Clear Collection. These are very popular right now and several different brands offer similar versions. For me, I like things to be as uniform as possible and these went best in my space because they matched the rest of the clear accessories.
4. Daisy Place Pencil Cup – Kate Spade ($20)
Instead of filing pens away in the drawers of your desk, add a cute little accent like this and space that desk space for other items!
5. Bear File Organizer – The Container Store ($19.99)
This desktop organizer is great for those papers you need often and it is absolutely adorable! TCS also has an elephant version and its just as cute. I love having accents that help make my spaces feel very light and open but adding a pop of gold really adds a great contrast.
6. Martha Stewart Living 42 in. Three-Drawer Flat-File Cabinet – The Home Depot ($399)
I haven’t included a piece of furniture in one of my posts yet but this is totally worth it if you can get it on sale like we did! If you have heard of the Martha Stewart Living collection then I’m sure you know how amazing it is. Her pieces contain drawer organizers that you can install if you would like. They are just MADE for organizing the big AND little items that you have in your office.
Check out the rest of the collection at The Home Depot!
7. Rosanna Let’s Chat Card Holder – Nordstrom ($24)
Business cards are so small that the only place to really keep them is in a holder on your desktop. I chose to include this specific one because its so fun and again, gold!
8. Keep It Simple Deskpad – Erin Condren ($25)
Calendars/To-Do Lists…I’m very picky about them. What I love about this specific one is its simplicity AND you can customize it. This notepad also makes it super easy to find an event/appointment you have written down…the easy-to-read labeled boxes help with that!
9. Landscape Acrylic Paper Drawer – The Container Store ($24.99)
I personally own a couple of these and they are perfect! We store our various printer papers inside and I also recently purchased one solely for thank you cards since I didn’t really have a designated spot for them. They look great on a desktop!
10. Gold Turtle Paperclip Holder – Target ($14.99)
Instead of using this for a paperclip holder, I would basically just use this as a catchall for our desk. What a cute little addition! This West Emory line at Target also makes a paper weight that would look great too.
Thanks for checking back in ya’ll! I really appreciate it! Stay tuned for the next room in this series.
