Welcome to the next post in this series! I am focusing on the living room in this post because it is where a ton of time is spent. I hope you guys enjoy and thank you for coming back!
- Wicker Small Milk Crate – Target ($13.79)
If you’re anything like me, I LOVE movies! So much so that I didn’t have a reasonable place to store them in our living room. After installing some shelves in our home, I added these baskets from Target and stored my DVDs in them. The beauty of them is that you can’t see what is stored in them unless you are looking down into them!
2. Wood Ladder Decor – World Market ($59.99)
Blankets are also all over our house because my husband likes to freeze us out on a normal basis! I have some in a basket that we don’t use as often as others. The ones we commonly use I keep hanging on a wooden ladder similar to this one. I bought mine at a local store and they have since not restocked, but this one from World Market is very similar. I have also linked 3 more that I found that differ from each other just slightly to satisfy different tastes! I love this piece though because it adds a rustic feel to our living room AND it makes blankets easy to grab!
Birch Lane version ($42.99)
PotteryBarn version ($263)
Anthropologie version ($98)
3. Etched Brass Tray – PotteryBarn ($99)
Own it. Love it. Get it! We keep it on our ottoman and its a great pop of gold among all of the wooden accents we have. We store all of our remotes here plus coffee table books and coasters for drinks. I think it would look great on a side table as well!
4. Extra Large Round Wire Decorative Storage Bin – Target ($24.99)
As I mentioned before, we love our blankets. I store some of them in a basket similar to this one. The ones we don’t use too often I place in here! I store this basket underneath our entryway table so it’s out of the way but still utilizes a space that is normally unused.
5. Darby Home Co Mathis Coffee Table Trunk with Lift Top – Wayfair ($331.99)
This coffee table is amazing! If you are looking for something with a lot of storage, this one is perfect. Usually trunks/lift tops don’t have the working drawers, but this one has TWO!
6. Brushed Stripe Cream and Gold Rectangle Magazine Holder – Jayes Studio ($82)
Again I am featuring Jayes Studio in my post because their products are so useful when you want to add a pop of color in a room. Magazine holders/racks aren’t very popular in my opinion, but this one is absolutely perfect for a living room. I would consider placing it under a side table or next to a couch/chair. Love this!
7. Rustic Branch Coat Rack – Birch Lane ($149.99)
If your house has a floor plan similar to ours, then you don’t really have a mudroom. I decided to include this into the Living Room edition because our front door feeds right into our living room. It would be very useful to have this so guests and even my family can hang their jackets! Instead of throwing those over a couch or chair, they actually have a place to go…perfect!
8. Clarkson Ladder Shelf – PotteryBarn ($199)
If you don’t have enough shelving in your living room (I totally feel your pain), ladder shelves like this one are a great accent! They don’t take up a lot of space and still gives you some storage space.
9. Brittany 2-Piece Decorative Box Set – Wayfair ($45.99)
My thought is not many people will go for this, but decorative boxes are perfect for storing random items in your living room. They are great for remotes, game console controllers, lighters for candles and even coasters!
10. TV Stand Walker Edison Brown – Target ($135.99)
Obviously there are TONS of tv stands out there. My reason for including this is that I wouldn’t actually use it as a tv stand. Instead, I would mount the tv above this piece and use the shelves at the bottom for storage. The best part about mounting the tv above is it frees up the top space so that you could add even more storage or possible some fun home accents!
Thank ya’ll for checking back with me! Ya’ll are so awesome!
