Decorating and organizing the nursery for our sweet Graham was so much fun! Since I just recently had the opportunity to take on this project, I thought that I would share my favorite accents that I implemented into this room. I do not own all of the items on this post, but I do have most. With that being said, I want you to know that you’re going to see a LOT of PotteryBarn Kids (I registered there)! I realize that not everyone likes PB Kids as much as I do, so I linked tons of other products that are very similar to the ones mentioned below.
I hope you guys enjoy this one…it is the last post in my Top 10 Accents series!
- Ikea Drawer Storage Organizers – Amazon ($31.95)
To begin, babies usually end up with a TON of clothes. I use a changing table/dresser to store G’s pajamas, swaddle blankets, sheets, etc. I read this blog before he was born to figure out the best way to organize all of the baby necessities. I loved how she organized her drawers so I took her advice. I purchased these drawer organizers off of Amazon (2 packs) and they are awesome! You can play around with them inside of the drawer to make them fit just how you want them to. What is even better is that when you are not using them, they unzip on the bottom and become flat for storage!
4″ Expandable Drawer Dividers – The Container Store
Simplify Drawer Organizer – Walmart
2. Chandler Woven Collapsible Storage – PotteryBarn Kids ($22 – $44)
These also become flat for storage..love that! Also, these baskets come with chalkboard labels on the front. I have a few of these on the bottom shelf of a bookshelf. We store toys in all of them! After all, boys love their toys!
Wicker Large Milk Crate – Target
Braided Storage Bin – West Elm
3. Harper Over-Door Storage – PotteryBarn Kids ($39)
I actually debated putting this on my registry, but I am so glad I did! I love utilizing any space I can and the back of a door is very useful. I actually store swim diapers, hats, and swimsuits in this and its so easy to just grab-and-go. And of course, I had to get it personalized!
Over-The-Door Organizer – Lillian Vernon
4. Taupe Sabrina Nursery Baskets – PotteryBarn Kids ($19 – $24)
If you have any room on your changing table or nearby…get these! The basket with the handles is what we use for diapers. It is so easy and you don’t even have to open a drawer to grab one. The smaller/thinner basket I store lotions, hand sanitizer, Boudreaux’s, etc.
Wicker Media Bin – Target
5. Cameron 2-Shelf Bookcase – PotteryBarn Kids ($249)
This offers storage and really doesn’t take up too much space. This is what I have the collapsible baskets on that I linked above!
Verona Two-Shelf Bookshelf – World Market
Hadley Open Bookcase – One Kings Lane
6. Harper Changing Table Runner – PotteryBarn Kids ($39)
In a diaper emergency, easy-to-grab is a must! This is so convenient. Also, this is part of the Harper Collection and we got a lot of pieces from it, including the over-the-door hanger that is linked above!
Essential Storage Runner – The Land of Nod
7. Canvas Pom Pom Storage – PotteryBarn Kids ($29 – $49)
I don’t have these exact bins but ours are currently not listed on PBK anymore. The ones in G’s room are very similar and we use one for all of his blankets and the other for stuffed animals that he uses frequently. I chose to include these because they are pretty gender-neutral which goes with the theme of our nursery. I added pops of navy once we found out we were having a boy!
T-Rex Collapsible Bin – Hobby Lobby (not gender-neutral, but still cute!)
Tasseled Pera Basket – Anthropologie
Rainbow Tufts Basket – Anthropologie
8. Beaumont Grey Wall Rack – The Land of Nod ($139)
So The Land of Nod is a new find for me…I’m not sure where I have been. We currently have no wall storage in our nursery, but this wall rack is on our list! It’s very simple but spacious. Plus, the hooks at the bottom offer a different kind of storage which I love!
Skyler 2-Shelf Wall Storage – World Market
9. Round Wire Hamper – At Home ($29.99)
Don’t know if this counts as an “accent” but we have this in a corner in the nursery. There isn’t too big of a closet in that room so I wanted something stylish..definitely not a plastic hamper in the middle of the room that’s an eyesore. Every bedroom actually has this hamper…the liner comes out if you need to wash it (which we do often). Again, gender-neutral so I don’t have to change it if we ever have a girl.
Wire Laundry Hamper with Liner – Target
Claudette Wire Hamper – World Market
10. Wrightwood Grey Stain & White Toy Storage Crates – The Land of Nod ($249)
The Land of Nod –> love the look! This is so simple and has such a rustic feel. I love that it is open also. The kids can see what is there very quickly. You could even add labels to help categorize the different types of toys (aren’t there a million)?!
Badger Basket Storage Cubby – Wayfair
Thanks for stopping by! See ya’ll soon!
