Day 2 in Hot Springs starts the same for our little group. We sat on the balcony all morning snuggled up with blankets and drinking coffee because it was in the lower 60s!
We chose to do some hiking — Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine. We started out at Garvan Gardens. It was absolutely beautiful to see the different flowers and fish. It was an easy, paved hike. We went to see Anthony’s Chapel that is located in a different part of the gardens. If only this was in Lake Charles, I would’ve gotten married there…whoa!
We stopped at Lake Hamilton and did a quick hike to see the lake and then drove over to Lake Catherine to take the view in there as well. Since the three hikes we did that day were relatively easy, we decided to get them all done on the second day! They were all within 10 miles of each other.
We decided to go out to eat that night to Luna Bella — food was great! I literally couldn’t find something to wear…I borrowed from Makenzie (thanks, girl!) Yes, that would be another Gimlet in my hand made by Madison. Poor thing was making them the whole trip for us!
The second day was definitely more tiresome than our first day but we had so much fun exploring nature. We ended our day with some rose on the patio together!
Thanks for checking back in you wonderful friends! I will type up our last day and post soon — make sure to check back.
